Dear MR. BIGGS,

In an attempt to publicly share my affection for you, I wrote you this letter. I want you to know what you mean to me, and I want the world to know it, too. Loving you has been the highlight of my life, and having that love reciprocated by you is my greatest blessing. Over the years I have learned that the most valuable attributes a person possesses are not their grand accomplishments or their openly praised efforts, but rather their silent acts of service that show their true character. I have failed time and time again to address your simple everyday rituals that come as a result of your love for me, but I want you to know that I do see them, and they mean everything to me. The remainder of this letter is my sloppy attempt to demonstrate to you the same love you give me daily. Happy two years, bb.

I just wanted to let you know....

Although I pray it will never be needed, I am glad that I get to be your emergency contact, and that you get to be mine.

I feel so grateful when you button my hard to reach buttons, and read the care instructions on my jeans before you wash them.

I love that you taught me to butter toast on both sides, and the most efficient way to load a dishwasher.

I appreciate that you answer all of my questions when we watch lacrosse games, and don't roll your eyes when I ask the same ones five minutes later.

I adore the dances you choreograph when you are happy, and admire the patience you show when you are upset.

I am thankful for the time you spend with me in the temple each week. Thank you for clearing your schedule to prioritize the Savior, even when it may not be convenient.

I know I tease you about your somniloquy, but I do value the late night reminders that you are alive and breathing.

You may not know this, but every once in a while I check both of our credit scores just to make sure mine is still higher, which is just one example of the many mundane things about adulthood that has become thrilling because of you.

I am not sure if you do it just to appease me, or if you are coming around to my taste in music, but every time you tell Alexa to "play 'Forever in Blue Jeans' by Neil Diamond" I fall in love with you a little bit more.

The past two years have been the best I have ever lived, and there is no one else on planet Earth I would rather binge watch Planet Earth with.

So, tonight I am raising my glass to many more late night McDonald's runs, audiobooks to talk over, and coordinated church outfits. To all of the little things that make the heavy things so worth it. To infinity and beyond, my darling! I love you. Happy Anniversary.
